01

Who we are

Help & Rebuild is a UK community app for classic vehicle restoration: sharing project builds, finding parts, messaging members and discovering restoration businesses. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

02

Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple and must be at least 16. You're responsible for what's posted from your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

03

Community content and zero tolerance

You own the content you post, and you grant us a licence to display it to other members inside the app. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. That includes harassment, hate speech, threats, sexually explicit material, spam, scams and fraudulent listings. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, without notice.

  • Report any build, comment, listing or member from inside the app — reports go straight to our team and we review them within 24 hours, removing content and ejecting offenders where needed.
  • Block any member from your chat with them — blocking is enforced on our servers.

04

Buying and selling parts

The marketplace and Find My Part board connect buyers with sellers — sales are agreed directly between members, and Help & Rebuild is not a party to any sale. Only list parts you own and describe them honestly. Payments for parts happen outside the app; take sensible precautions, and prefer inspecting parts in person.

The parts finder also links out to external UK retailers and dealer part stores. Those are third-party websites with their own terms and privacy policies, and any purchase there is between you and that retailer.

05

Restoration businesses

Business profiles come from our directory, from OpenStreetMap community data (© OpenStreetMap contributors) and from members. Ratings and reviews reflect members' own experiences. Business owners may claim their listing; misrepresenting ownership of a business is prohibited. Quotes exchanged through the app are estimates and any work agreed is strictly between you and the business.

06

AI features and vehicle data

The AI damage assessment, part finder and price guide provide estimates generated by artificial intelligence. They are guidance only — not professional advice, valuations or insurance assessments. Always confirm with a qualified professional before spending money.

Reg lookup identifies a car from its number plate using the DVSA's official vehicle data service. Details are provided as-is for parts searching — always confirm part fitment before you buy.

07

Memberships

Optional Pro (monthly or annual) and Business (monthly) memberships unlock extra tools. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Memberships renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period — manage or cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. On Apple devices, use of the app is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement.

08

Fair use

Don't scrape the app, interfere with other members' use, attempt to access data that isn't yours, or use the app for anything unlawful.

09

Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for losses arising from member-to-member sales, business work agreed through the app, or reliance on AI estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves; material changes will be flagged in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
